Mollie Driscoll, MSN, CNM

Mollie Driscoll received her BA in Psychology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1990. She then spent a year working at Planned Parenthood, where she began to become interested in midwifery. She completed a year and a half of Master's level coursework in Women's Studies at Ohio State University, then sold notebook computers for four years. Wanting to get out of sales and into women and babies, she applied to nurse midwifery programs. In 2000, she received her MSN from Vanderbilt University in Nashville with a specialty in Nurse-Midwifery. She relocated to the San Francisco Bay area, where she now lives.

She is driven by a strong desire to empower women from diverse cultural backgrounds and to give them the best and safest experiences of pregnancy and childbirth. She loves midwifery and hopes eventually to include teaching in her midwifery career. She is also interested in film and film criticism, pottery, internet culture, cooking, Arab culture and language, and cats.
