Marty Couret entered in the health care field as an EMT working as a summer camp medic. He then began his climb up the ranks of the nursing field. Starting as a certified nursing assistant on a cardiac floor, he ascended to nurse practitioner after receiving his MSN from Vanderbilt. Marty works as a content writer and nurse practitioner consultant for NP Central. He is also employed as a nurse practitioner part-time with FamilyCare of Kent and Lake Serene Walk-In Clinic in Lynnwood. Marty spends much of his free time volunteering regularly with his church youth group and at the Neighborhood Clinic in Tacoma. Marty enjoys rugby, running, and hiking.
